Dragonball was a lot more enjoyable than Z since the fights were still a bit ridiculous but anyone could train to get to a similar level if they trained hard enough. They also had a lot of interesting characters and went to fun places and then Z came and it just turned into WRAAAAAAARGH and zoom zoom and KAMEHAMEHASUPERSAIYAJINKAIOKEN2000 with some new baddie that was always stronger than the last.
