No matter what version of Chrome or FF it is, it locks up the tab with the gigantic gif loading in it. Plugins/Extensions on or off, cache cleared, etc.; none of it matters, it happens anyway, and it certainly isn't a hardware issue.
It's weird, I don't have an issue with gifs, and I use a FF branch.
I have a CPU and GPU monitoring widget visible 100% of the time that I'm using the PC. A 100mb gif certainly isn't capping out my 4770k or 840evo; there's something happening with the way that Chrome manages resources. Only the tab that the gif loads in slows down, every other tab incl. youtube, games, whatever work perfectly fine while the slowdown is happening in the gif tab. It probably splits resources between each tab or something equally ridiculous.
Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to fix it from the user end, but meh. Honestly 90-100MB gifs are pretty ludicrous to begin with and most web devs probably don't even bother optimizing anything around them since they shouldn't even exist

Give me time to work on my Relic and also plan out how I'm gonna do it. I could keep the amiibos as they are. Meaning Wave 1 would have the most experience. Or I could reset them all and have a fresh tourny. The problem I come across is the fast it make it less realistic if I just reset them. I mean a vet fighter doesn't exactly forgot everything he learned just cause there are new guys entering the ring. I think I'm just gonna stick with them as they are but would like to see what other people think.
