I was always leaving a mule whm/blm in town for teleporting people too lol. But I got so mad at *** whms that on principle they were always free lol
I don't really see a reason to spend money on in game currency. Maybe for transfers/character changes but not currency. I start from square one and I'll stay there if that's my fate.

I walked into Bastok to turn in a quest, I see a guy yelling for a tele, offering 20k. I zoned, turned in quest, walked into Bastok markets again and still see him shouting, offer went up to 50k.

went in MH to change job to whm/blm, walked out, saw him shout for 90k.
I sent inv as he went up 100k.
tele'd, he payed up.

never seen someone so desperate to leave Bastok like that

I'm surprised you feel exactly the same now as you did as a little kid.

For example back then I didn't care; I just paid money for a video game so what was a little bit more etc. But things change.
While I've changed I still act very much like I did as a kid. Probably part of the reason there was no problem with people believing I was ~20 during my first 3-4 years of playing.

One of Windurst's zones has two maps, I call BS.
It's true, the zones also form a ring unlike the other cities that are more lines with the mog house exits located at opposite ends of the zones from the warp npcs. So between the 2 the only thing you are ever far away from is that residential area that has like 2 irrelevant quests.
